MRC Clinical Research Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics

You will have completed Foundation training and will be expected to register for a PhD and to take up the role 3-6 months after a place has been offered. The post is available for 3 years from commencement in 2018.  

In partnership with the Medical Research Council, the Universities of Liverpool and Manchester are offering an exciting and innovative scheme providing clinical research training in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. The Fellowship is available for a medically-qualified candidate who wishes to pursue a career in either academic medicine or industry. This training programme will provide: A PhD research project in a key clinical science discipline within a world-class environment for science and medicine; Highly experienced supervisors; A clinical mentoring programme closely linked with the North West Postgraduate Deanery; Significant opportunities to spend research time with our industrial partners; Support will include a clinical salary, PhD registration fees at UK/EU student rate, research expenses, general training funds and travel costs to attend national and international meetings.
