Our role

Our Leadership & Management Degree Programme blends online learning, face-to-face workshops and on-the-job experience to transform apprentices into highly-valued graduate professionals. Apprentices gain a degree without financial pressures, unlike attending University.  

As Senior Lecturer, you will have the knowledge and ability to lead blended learning modules within the Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship. You may have a speciality e.g. strategy, or finance or marketing or operations management. 

You will have a passion for, and opinions about, world class business education and professional management accreditations. Excellent communication and engagement skills are a must.

Your experience

A Masters degree – preferably in business or PhD

Substantial teaching and learning experience, including work based learning and a specialist subject area

A teaching qualification or a desire to obtain one

Experience outside of education in a business sector(s)

The skill and habits of someone who can role model continual learning and inquiry to improve productivity

An interest in, and updated knowledge of the impact of technology on business

Daily ways of working that include skills that enhance efficiency

Stakeholder management to deal with the new challenges of degree apprenticeships

Evidence of managing students within university rules and regulations

Not required but desirable

Previous experience of managing modules

Previous experience of managing more junior lecturers/tutors

A specialism in operations management / marketing or finance for managers
