The Edinburgh Earth and Environment (E³) DTP, led by the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh, brings together 29 partners from the research, education, policy and industry sectors. These partner organisations enable us to deliver a world-class programme of PhD training and multidisciplinary research through provision of a variety of support including PhD supervision, training provision, CASE funding and hosting students through our Professional Internship Programme (PIP).

We continue to seek to attract and enable the brightest PhD students to address critical environmental problems, providing flexible training in a multidisciplinary setting.

The E³ DTP has 18 available studentships with a minimum of 3.5 years (6 years PT) funding available to UK/EU citizens and settled overseas students who have worked and/or studied in the UK for at least three years before the programme starts (Sept 2018).
