You will work within the Integrative Genomics of Ageing Group, under the supervision of Dr Joao Pedro de Magalhaes. You will be enthusiastic, ambitious and able to develop and apply novel co-expression methods to study gene function.

You should have a degree in computer sciences or biology with bioinformatics experience in a university or within an industry setting and have a knowledge of functional genomics and experience in scripting. For appointment at Grade 7, you should have a PhD in a field of life, medical or computer sciences and a broad knowledge of biology, genetics and bioinformatics.  Experience in the analysis of large-scale transcriptome data is desirable. This post is available for 1 year in the first instance.
