Teaching Fellow

King's College London

Salary Details: £33,518 to £39,992 per annum Allowances: £2,923 LWA per annum

Momentum around education and improving the student experience is moving quickly as KCL recently launched the new Education Strategy 2017-2022 focusing on research-enhanced education, innovative curricula and attentive focus to the needs of our student population.

Part of these exciting efforts is the creation of the King’s Academy, a new unit within the Students and Education Division at King’s College London. King’s Academy will provide educational development support, professional enhancement opportunities, and engagement-focused initiatives at King’s College London. Through these three strands of delivery, King’s Academy will enable strategic partnerships and serve as a conduit for activity around research-enhanced pedagogies.

The role of the Teaching Fellow will be an instrumental colleague to help build our efforts in delivering strategic educational development to KCL. The successful candidate will have knowledge of current issues in UK higher education around assessment and feedback, active learning pedagogies and inclusive, research-based approaches to curriculum development and graduate student support.
