Student Services Supervisor (Customer Service)

King's College London - Student Services team, within the Student Support & Wellbeing (SSW) Services Division

Grade/salary: Grade 5, £28,098 - £32,548 Plus £2,923 London Weighting Allowance

Period of appointment: 15 months Fixed Term Contract

The purpose of the Student Services Supervisor (Customer Service) is to deliver an excellent, customer-focused student frontline enquiry service by proactively:

  • Ensuring effective staff management
  • Monitoring and evaluating service delivery
  • Informing, improving and innovating services and ways of working
  • Establishing, and engaging staff with objectives that will deliver a sector leading, student focused service
  • Fostering a culture of empowerment and collective responsibility
  • Working collaboratively to deliver consistency
  • Enabling effective communication throughout the service and the university, including developing and maintaining key working relationships between appropriate departments and Student Services
  • Providing pastoral care for staff and students
  • Ensuring a personal level of service that is consistently ‘responsive, inclusive, knowledgeable and friendly’
  • Role modelling all of the above
