Senior Research Financial Administrator

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality pre- and post-award research support to academic research staff.

To develop and maintain specialist knowledge of European and other overseas funders and associated trends, funding opportunities and rules.

To lead and motivate a team of Research Support Assistants, providing guidance and direction and to ensure high performance and service delivery.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 6, £28,098 - £31,604 per annum.

This position is full time (35 hours) and open-ended.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
