The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to provide dedicated executive support to Dr. Dan Stoyanov and his team. The role will include diary management, arranging meetings and minute taking, event managing, financial management, liaising with a wide variety of people, responsibility for records and other administrative support. This is a new post, established to support Dr. Danail Stoyanov and his team, and their work with the UCL Robotics Institute. This will be a busy role, in a fast-paced environment, and the post holder will be expected to be adaptable, quickly assimilate information, and to establish their own support networks across UCL.

This post is available until 31 October 2022 in the first instance.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage busy schedules and provide a high level of administrative support to the team. They must be efficient, organised, and pay careful attention to detail. The role requires the ability to cope with intermittent heavy workloads and to prioritise tasks, to cope calmly with frequent interruptions that inevitably arise at certain periods and the capability to work flexibly as part of a busy team in a university environment. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and ‘can do’ approach are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.

Candidates will need excellent IT skills, including experience of creating and updating webpages, and directly relevant experience, preferably within a Higher Education (HE) or research environment.
