Global Mobility Coordinator, Fractional (.8) Position

The Global Mobility Coordinator takes a lead role in maintaining and improving the Visiting Student (non-US) and student exchange degree programmes during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Reporting to the Dean of International Programmes this is an exciting new part-time position. It involves s/he over-seeing and improving the Visiting Student (non-US) and student exchange programmes during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. The successful candidate will act as prime liaison for this student cohort on academic-related matters and be the chief point of communication between international partners and other departments within the university. The role may involve some international travel from time to time.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to take a creative and flexible approach to work are essential. Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite is required. An understanding of the UK/US higher education system as well as a working knowledge of UKVI requirements for visas to study in the UK are desirable.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent working experience is also required.

The Global Mobility Coordinator will be primarily located at the University’s Kensington Campus but will also be required to work for approximately one or two days a week at the University’s Richmond Campus. By the nature of the duties of this position, there is a requirement for flexible working hours and occasional weekend and evening work. This position may involve occasional UK and overseas travel.
