Faculty within the School currently operate in five subject groups (Economics; Accounting and Finance; Work, Organisation and Management; Marketing and Operations; Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship) but adopt a distinctive, highly collaborative approach, working in interdisciplinary teams which span the School and University.

The Accounting and Finance Group of the University of Liverpool Management School is now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance (the equivalent to Assistant/Associate Professor). The individual appointed will play a central role in the continued growth of the School and contribute to our core objectives for research and teaching in Finance. Candidates will possess a relevant PhD and a strong track record of publications in world-leading and internationally excellent journals in Finance.

For appointment as a Lecturer (Grade 8) you will possess a relevant PhD, or be close to completion of a PhD, in the area of Finance. You will demonstrate an embryonic track record of publications in world-leading or internationally excellent journals in any area of the finance field. Candidates will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain and extend the existing high level of output.

Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record commensurate with the post as they will teach in the undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of the student experience and for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
