Programme Leader - International Educational Leadership

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 9. The salary range will be £55,163 - £59,981 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The London Centre for Leadership in Learning (LCLL) is the UK’s largest Higher Education centre for educational leadership with a strong and growing international presence. We are based in the Department for Leadership and Learning at the IOE and have over 50 staff offering expertise across a wide range of leadership fields. Our research group includes world-recognised academics, professors and researchers who undertake innovative research and teach on our postgraduate programmes. This cutting-edge research directly informs our leadership development programmes which are delivered to thousands of school leaders each year both in England and internationally. This is an exciting role with responsibility for leading international consultancy projects and school leadership development programmes. An important part of the role will be to contribute to the design of sustainable leadership development solutions. The post holder will be expected to develop partnerships with Ministries of Education, UK Government Organisations, School Groups, Education Consultancies and Funders. In addition, an important part of the role will be preparing bids for a wide range of projects.

The successful applicant must have a deep understanding of educational leadership gained from within a school, academic, consultancy or Government environment. An experienced presenter is required who is confident to facilitate international leadership programmes and contribute to the delivery of programme content. Excellent project management, IT and financial management skills are also required. The post includes international travel particularly in Asia, the Middle East and South America. This is a full time role but applications for part time working (0.5 FTE) will also be considered on the basis of working approximately 2 weeks per month.
