Principal Consultant

Oxford Brookes University - Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Institute of Public Care is renowned for its consultancy, skills development, applied research and evaluation work in health and social care. We have around 40 staff and associates, with offices in Bath and Oxford, who work across the UK with local and national governments, NHS organisations, and private and voluntary sector providers of care and support. IPC has grown steadily since it was founded in 1987, and we drive innovation and improvement through our work on transformation, service evaluation, commissioning, market shaping, performance and quality management.

We are seeking a full-time Principal Consultant to be based at our Oxford office. You will have a strong health or social care background in children's or adults' services, and experience of working in consultancy, applied evaluation or in supporting organisational development and change. You will have excellent writing, analysis and communication skills.

You will be employed by the University, with all the credibility, security and employment benefits that this brings, and you will be taking up a busy, exciting and challenging role, requiring regular travel across the country. If you think that the post might offer the major career move you have been looking for, go to our website to find out more about our work: http://ipc.brookes.ac.uk.

Please note: the successful applicant will need to be subject to a background disclosure check before any appointment can be confirmed.

International applicants from outside the EU will need to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK.

Interview date: 23 and 24 January 2018

Location: Harcourt Hill, Oxford
