Senior Lecturer in Medical Education

The School of Medicine is developing a theme of Medical Education research and teaching, and an expansion of the capacity is necessary. As the Post Graduate Programme expands and develops, there is a need for staff to assist in the delivery of the programme, particularly as it moves out to a global community.

The school therefore wishes to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education to support the development of the post graduate educational provision in medical education and take the lead for the delivery, quality assurance and assessment of credit bearing courses in this area. The post holder will also take the role of lead for admissions for the MBBS program within the school.

You will hold a higher degree in an area related to Medical Education along with familiarity with education pedagogy.

Experience of working within a postgraduate program in medical education is essential alongside willingness to undertake distance learning development and a track record of grant capture. You must possess excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills and have strong planning and team management skills. An ability to work to deadlines is also essential.
