The University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) invites applications for a Professor in Health Economics. The appointment will expand and complement our existing research strengths and add to our capacity to deliver high quality rigorous research and teaching. This new full time post is available immediately on a permanent basis at our St Lukes Campus in Exeter.

About you

We are seeking a talented candidate with a research profile that fits with the School's focus on interdisciplinary research, and overlaps with our existing health economics research, including evaluation of complex interventions, although applications are encouraged from other areas of health economics research. Your key qualities and skills will include:

  • Highly motivated and ambitious.
  • Extensive research experience in health economics.
  • Successful track record of grant acquisition.
  • High quality publications commensurate with an international reputation.

We are looking for an Academic with leadership and strategic vision to further establish, build and sustain an internationally competitive focus of health economics research and scholarship.
