The University of Southampton is home to the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC), established in 2008. NETSCC manages evaluation research programmes and other research on behalf of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

NETSCC is currently seeking to appoint a Data Visualisation/Geo Analytics Analyst to support its Information Team with:

  • The development, implementation, delivery and support of a range of high quality Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Management of and/or contribution to a wide range of Business Intelligence projects.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable project management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written skills with an ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Experience of analysing data and presenting insight in both oral and written formats using a variety of analysis and presentation packages with a particular focus on visualisation of data and geographical analysis.

The post is expected to be full time, but part time working (minimum 4 days a week) may be considered for the right candidate(s).
