Programmes Manager

University of Cambridge - HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Centre of Islamic Studies

The University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Programmes Manager in the Centre of Islamic Studies, to begin in February 2018. The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the team to fulfil the Centre's mission of creating a more informed understanding in wider society about Islam and Muslim societies in the contemporary world.

You will develop the Centre's existing outreach and public education activities and generate new ideas for outreach paths and activities. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to organise, initiate and take responsibility for the management of educational and cultural events. You will demonstrate genuine interest in the work of the Centre of Islamic Studies, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have flawless spoken and written English, and the ability to produce concise reports for specialised audiences. You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.
