The Business and Law Faculty is home to the large multi-disciplinary School of Marketing and Management which covers Sport Management, Event Management, Tourism Management, Marketing and Human Resources Management. Lecturer posts offer the chance to specialise and play to personal strengths in preparation for further advancement. With a PhD and recent teaching experience in a Higher Education environment it is expected that lecturers will have evidence of a developing research profile in the area of Sport Management.  You may also have experience of leading- edge professional practice or consultancy work including evidence of effective application of solutions to business and practice problems. Experience of working on an international level and competence in more than one language would be advantageous.

You will need at least a Master degree (or professional equivalent) in a relevant management focused subject and recent teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates holding PhDs / close to completion in a relevant field and / or with significant professional experience in the sport industry. Your growing research portfolio or industry portfolio and your ability to network and develop partnerships with external organisations will further enhance the School’s profile.
