The Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training is seeking to appoint a new Institute Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a central leadership role in the organisation of the Institute, the line management of the Administration Team and liaison with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors to oversee the effective operational functioning of the Institute and the delivery of high standards of educational quality.

The Institute has a reputation for excellence in the provision of Clinical Psychology Training, especially its three-year, Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology that is hosted by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and is validated by the University of Oxford. We also provide a range of other training, including a one year Post Graduate Certificate in the Supervision of Applied Psychological Practice. The Institute is staffed by a group of clinical psychologists, assisted by administrative and support staff. The administrative and teaching base for the Institute is the Isis Education Centre, a pleasant, purpose built building in the grounds of the Warneford Hospital. The Institute has a close working relationship with Harris Manchester College within the University of Oxford.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a portfolio of administrative responsibilities and have excellent interpersonal skills, good IT skills and project management/process improvement abilities. They will have responsibility for managing the team of administrative and support staff within the Institute and will be a key part of a well-established team consisting of Clinical, Academic and Research Tutors, committed to high standards in clinical training.

This is a full-time post that will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to apply their management, leadership and administrative skills in a friendly, varied and exciting setting. The post-holder will act with considerable autonomy and initiative in liaising with diverse organisations spanning the health and education sectors and ensure that effective and efficient communication is maintained between the Institute, the University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (who are the employers of The Institute staff and trainees).
