Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Digital Health

We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Biomedical Signal Processing and m-Health research group at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (Headington). The post is funded by the Stroke Association and is fixed-term to 12 months (renewable for an additional year).

The final project outcome will be a web-based system to allow patients who have suffered a stroke to self-management and clinicians to follow them remotely. The system will be based on a messaging system and a mobile app for smart devices. Algorithms will need to be developed to analyse data collected from the mobile Health system and for detecting changes in patient-behaviour likely to lead to an increased risk of stroke

You will have a PhD/DPhil (or near to completion) in a relevant science, engineering, maths or technology subject. You should possess data analysis skills, mobile and full-stack web development experience, an interest in applying your skills in a medical environment, and initiative. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
