About the role:

The Research & Innovation Development Office is responsible for supporting colleagues across Anglia Ruskin University in fostering world-leading and impactful research, enterprise, innovation and knowledge exchange activities. We’re seeking to appoint an experienced professional who can provide operational support to users across a number of key research management and information systems, ensuring optimal use is made and the key benefits are realised. You’ll contribute to the development of these systems, enhancing their functionality and capability, including integrating with other institutional systems.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification, you’ll have experience of providing IT system support and service delivery, including working with current research information or equivalent knowledge management systems. You'll have experience of identifying, implementing and testing IT system upgrades as well as experience of using and updating metadata and remedying data quality issues. Experience of Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) or equivalent knowledge management systems is essential. You’ll be enthusiastic about advising users and systems owners, and proactive in identifying opportunities for users and systems development and enhancement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.
