As we embark on the next evolution of the university group and pursue this ambitious trajectory in support of our corporate plan, we are looking for a driven and high-performing Events and Engagement Officer to join the marketing and external affairs team as it seeks to shape and strengthen the institution's reputation.

Working within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the role will be instrumental in helping to deliver a series of high profile events and engagements to support student recruitment, research and commercial activities to national and international audiences to support the reputation and brand profile of the Faculty.

To cover a one year maternity period, we are seeking a strong leader and good team player, who can portray a positive, 'can do' attitude, exceeding customer expectations. You should be highly organised and able to manage and prioritise your workload using your own initiative, under pressure, in a busy academic environment. You will have extensive events and engagement management experience and be an expert in the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be digitally fluent. Evidence of the above skills should be provided in your application.
