About the role:
We are focussed on obtaining substantial growth in international student numbers over the coming months and years. The provision of an outstanding admissions processing service will form a key part of our strategy in achieving this. Working closely with departmental colleagues, admissions tutors and administrators in a busy, friendly and supportive environment, you’ll be responsible for the efficient processing of international student applications and admissions. You’ll provide information and advice to both potential and current international applicants about our courses. This demanding, customer focussed role will require you to work accurately under pressure whilst applying and implementing agreed admissions criteria and procedures.

With a degree or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification, you’ll have awareness of current international issues as well as of UK Visa and Immigration policies that affect international students. You must be able to organise and prioritise your own workload and work without direct supervision. You must be IT literate with experience of using databases and have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. You’ll have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
