Lecturer in Medical Statistics/Epidemiology

In this role you will undertake statistical and epidemiological research, teaching and administrative duties in line with the Department's learning, teaching and research strategies, bringing statistical and epidemiological expertise to the Leicester Diabetes Research Centre (DRC). This will primarily involve support for studies led by investigators from University of Leicester, University of Loughborough and/or University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. The post holder will be expected to lead and develop grant proposals and contribute to the DRC research strategic planning. The post holder will also co-lead the statistical team at the DRC.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and experience of working in a comparable setting with knowledge of the relevant systems, processes and procedures.
