About the role:

We’re looking for a professional, customer focussed and target driven Business Development Manager to build and develop relationships with local and regional police forces to deliver the new Police Constable Degree Apprenticeships (PCDA) and other qualifications. You’ll be responsible for identifying and successfully bidding for contracts to deliver the PCDA, within the police procurement processes. Working within the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences our aim is to widen the range of courses we deliver to the police and to increase student numbers in the region.

With a degree or a relevant professional qualification, you’ll have experience in delivering and/or designing training and education and will have exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be looking to make a real difference to police training and education whilst successfully meeting targets and deadlines. You’ll have proven experience of creating and maintaining business relationships and of identifying and securing contracts. You’ll also have the ability to work using your own initiative, have demonstrable experience of achieving and exceeding targets and be an outstanding team player.
