London South Bank University - Engineering - London South Bank Innovation Centre (LSBIC)

The London South Bank Innovation Centre (LSBIC) is a university research centre based at the National Structural Integrity Research Centre within TWI Ltd near Cambridge. The centre's aim is to carry out research and development in the field of Automation of Non Destructive Testing and Robotics. To undertake this research LSBIC has secured funding from the European Commission, EPSRC and InnovateUK to work with companies across Europe in the energy, aerospace, construction & transport sectors.

LSBIC seeks to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake internationally-renowned or world leading research in this area across specific projects. The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in Engineering with expertise in Mechatronics, Robotics or Control engineering and will be able to produce high quality research outputs as well as supervising PhD students. The role will require the ability to exercise a high degree of innovation, creative problem solving and to manage a project workload.
