We’re looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead our Masters in Finance programme team and ensure the smooth running of our top-ranked Masters in Finance programme.

The Degree Education and Career Centre designs, promotes, recruits for and delivers our portfolio of degree programmes, including the MBA, a suite of EMBA programmes, the Sloan Fellowship, the Masters in Finance,  the Masters in Management and the Masters in Financial Analysis.

The Masters in Finance programme is a post-experience specialist master’s degree, ranked number one by the Financial Times amongst its peers around the world. The programme is offered in both full- and part-time formats to around 200 finance professionals each year. Joining the team as Senior Programme Manager, it’ll be down to you to ensure that all student-related programme management and operational activity is delivered to a high standard in a timely and efficient manner. You’ll help to shape the future of our global business as you:

  • Work collaboratively across departments in the day to day delivery of the programme
  • Develop the overall programme experience for students together with the Programme Director and Programme Managers
  • Oversee budgets and assist with quarterly forecasts and year end budget monitoring
  • Manage, develop and support the Programme Management team
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve the student experience
  • Manage the delivery of operational elements of the programme by planning and coordinating a range of activities.

This is an exciting time to join the Masters in Finance Programme team as we complete a programme review and implement new and exciting enhancements to further develop the programme.

In this role, you’ll oversee programme delivery, making sure each and every student has an excellent experience – exceeding expectations and maximising the impact of the programme.

What we’re looking for

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated capability of managing in a customer facing environment
  • Evidence of advanced analytical and problem solving
  • A track record managing, developing and motivating a team
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ideally, relevant experience of programme management in higher education.
