Project Manager

The 600 Paston Footprints HLF funded project (Dr Karen Smyth (Co-PI) and Dr Rebecca Pinner (Co-PI)) seeks a full-time Project Manager, who will co-ordinate activities, events, volunteers, information gathering and dissemination. The project is a UEA collaboration with the Paston Heritage Society, and partnerships with heritage, community, wellbeing, educational, religious and tourism bodies.

The project seeks to enable local communities to explore their local links with this globally significant heritage that spans the 15th – 17th centuries. Project activities include the creation of ten heritage trail walks and one cycling trail, with deeper learning experiences for children and adults, digitisation of the Paston archives materials held in the NRO, 3D modelling of Paston sites and a major 600th anniversary festival.

You will hold a degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), and have experience of project co-ordination as well as solid organisational skills including attention to details and multitasking skills. 

This full-time post is available from February 2018 to December 2020 and will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver.
