Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in which to develop your administrative career in a world-leading academic department and University?

The Department of Physics is seeking two motivated individuals to provide general support in administrative Hubs recently established to provide a pro-active and responsive service to academic and research staff, and graduate students. You will provide wide-ranging administrative support to the Hub Administrator, Finance Administrator and HR and Events Administrator.

You will have GCSE level grades A-C or equivalent / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of practical experience. Previous experience working in an office environment would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will  have excellent general organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to deal with a wide-range of duties.

It is vital that you possess excellent inter-personal skills to be able to work well with your Hub team and manage good working relationships with a wide variety of people from all over the world.

This is a full-time, permanent position with anticipated working hours of 9am to 5.30pm (exact hours to be discussed with successful applicant).

As well as developments in its administration, the Department is looking forward to further major developments, including planning for a state-of-the-art, multi-million pound new building within the next five years.
