Senior Behavioural Insights Adviser

King's College London - Social Mobility and Student Success Department

The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 to £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post but flexible working will be considered.

We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to bring a stronger evidence base to how the higher Education sector thinks about access to and success at university. The role will sit within the newly-established ‘What Works Unit’ embedded within the Policy Institute at King’s College London and part of the Social Mobility and Student Success Division.

The successful candidate will develop and test new ways of supporting social mobility and student success, through the application of cutting-edge research and insights from behavioural economics, social psychology and related disciplines. They will also lead a programme of capability-building, including the development of training for university officers, drafting behavioural insights research briefs, and leading on the preparation of an annual report of the activities of the What Works Unit

They will be an influential voice in the sector, and contribute to the positioning of King’s as a leader in applying behavioural insights to promoting university access and success.

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
