Quality and Standards Adviser

Join the busy Quality and Standards team, where you will contribute to the delivery of high quality professional services in the Academic Standards and Assessment team. You will work in the central team supporting quality and standards in the area of academic standards, external examining and academic regulation. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • developing and implementing policy and processes for efficient quality assurance;
  • providing specialist advice and guidance on the university's quality assurance procedures and policies;
  • acting as officer to university committees and panels;
  • developing and delivering workshops and training sessions on policies and processes;
  • managing a small team of staff.

A degree or equivalent practical application of theoretical knowledge, along with substantial previous experience of relevant work within Higher Education is essential, as is sufficient expert knowledge of quality assurance and the ability to communicate complex information verbally and in writing.
