We are seeking to appoint a clinical psychologist to join our highly regarded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme team. You must be an accredited practitioner with the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT), have post ACAT accreditation experience and demonstrate commitment and passion for CAT as a model. You must also have relevant, experience of clinical practice in an adult mental health setting. You will be a member of the programme’s clinical team and undertake a varied range of duties including placement organisation and allocation, placement review visits and supervisor training. You will also undertake additional duties such as teaching in areas of clinical/ professional expertise, particularly CAT, marking coursework assignments and supervising and examining clinical psychology doctorate research. You will be taking a lead role in strategically developing the CAT competencies framework and portfolio and liaising with ACAT.  You will be a registered clinical psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council with post qualification clinical experience. This will include supervision of trainee clinical psychologists as well as experience of teaching and training and contributing to clinical psychology training. We particularly welcome applications from those with mental health service user or carer experience.
