Salary: Grade 5, £21,585 to £24,983 per annum, with potential to progress to £27,285

We have a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and inquisitive individual. You will have either some existing workplace experience of legal agreements, or a relevant degree-level qualification. Training and mentoring will build your skills so that you will provide essential specialist support to improve our reputation as an excellent research partner, with a reputation for being easy to do business with.

This role requires someone who is inquisitive and keen to learn and who can apply a pragmatic and logical approach to contract drafting and negotiation. The role involves the review and negotiation of research related contracts. You will primarily be responsible for confidentiality agreements and material transfer agreements, but you will also support the wider team with the review of research contracts such as scholarships, variations and research collaboration agreements.
