Salary: £20,989 to £22,876 per annum pro rata. Fixed Term for 6 months in the first instance

Hours Per Week: 21.75

About You

Self-motivated, highly organised and positive you are able to work effectively under pressure whilst managing competing deadlines. You will also have excellent IT skills, experience of working with detailed financial information and of operating a student record or similar system.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders. You will have broad and considerable experience of providing advice and guidance, ideally within a Higher Education or similar setting and your commitment to delivering to a high standard of accuracy with first class customer service will ensure that you quickly become a key member of our friendly and supportive Department.

About the Role

Working as part of a busy team, you will have responsibility for invoicing, collection and reconciliation of tuition fees and will be available to offer guidance and support to applicants and students over funding regulations. The role will also support health students externally funded by the NHS and assist with their transition to student support funded arrangements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly numerate and analytical administrator with a flair for problem solving to make a significant contribution to this important area of the University.
