Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mass Spectrometry

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mass Spectrometry to work under the supervision of Professor Dame Carol Robinson on a research project funded by The Wellcome Trust for a period of 2 years. 

The project involves using mass spectrometry to study the structure and function of protein complexes. Find out more about the Robinson research group at:

You should have a PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, physics or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. You should have expertise in characterisation of proteins using relevant biophysical methods.

Duties will include managing own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines and collaborating in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles and occasionally presenting papers and posters.

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
