Senior Research Associate in Public Health

University of Bristol - Bristol Medical School

We are seeking to appoint an experienced researcher in public health to work on an NIHR funded school-based cluster randomised controlled trial.

The WISE study is an evaluation of an intervention to support the mental health and wellbeing of secondary school teachers. There are 25 participating schools, 13 in the Bristol area and 12 across South East Wales.

The primary role of the post-holder will be, along with their job share partner, to manage the study in the 13 schools in England, ensuring key timescales are adhered to and project milestones met. The role provides an excellent opportunity to deepen skills and knowledge in public health research, and in particular to gain experience in leading a multi-site school-based randomised controlled trial.

Name, tel no and email details for informal contact: Judi Kidger 0117 3313910, judi.kidger@bristol.ac.uk

Interviews are due to take place on 16th January 2018.

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
