NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is a partnership between the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. It is dedicated to facilitating clinical and translational research, bringing together the research work of many of the leading clinicians both in Exeter and other Centres in Devon and Cornwall.

We are seeking an experienced and driven clinical research facility manager. This senior post is crucial to the success of the CRF. The post holder will manage the work of the facility to meet the UKCRC aims of increasing excellent research in the UK supported by the clinical and scientific leads for research. They will work with the relevant members of UEMS and the RD&E NHS Foundation Trust assisting with the development and implementation of the University and NHS research strategies reflecting local and national priorities, whilst also identifying opportunities where Exeter can build on current excellence. The post holder will lead the creation of CRF reports to NIHR and other funders. The post holder will ensure effective communication for the facility by developing close partnerships and productive working relationships with key individuals and groups across the facility and the wider research community, and ensure the facility contributes to national discussion and debate. The post holder will develop a marketing approach for the CRF to increase the number of studies whilst maintaining the quality of studies carried out in the facility.
