Open University - OU Validation Partnerships, Learning & Teaching Innovation

Based in Walton Hall Milton Keynes

The OU Validation Partnerships team is responsible for providing Open University institutional approval for a large number of institutions in the UK and worldwide as well as validation for their academic programmes.

This role involves ensuring that the administrative processes for the University’s arrangements and requirements for the approval and review of potential and existing partners for the purpose of the delivery of validated OU awards is thorough and robust.

You will also provide support to Validated Partnerships management team on developments relating to collaborative partnerships in further and higher education.

You must have experience of working in a higher educational or similar environment with a strong quality background, strong numeracy and ICT skills, excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence, advise and support others, good problem solving skills as well as the ability to work co-operatively and flexibly in a variety of team settings. You should have experience of providing critical analysis of and working within policies and procedures as well as recent auditing or peer review experience.
