Lecturer in Popular, Contemporary, and Commercial Music

The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts

Our students, and their futures, are at the heart of what we do.

This is a rare opportunity to develop your student-centred practice in one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions; we enjoy a global reputation for the quality of our teaching, our world class facilities and an enviable track record of graduate employment.

Applications are invited from candidates with one or more specialisms in Songwriting, Commercial Music Production, Popular Music Theory, Popular Music Studies, and Popular Music Industries.  You will be required to teach across all our HE Music programme levels.

You will, ideally, have substantial professional music experience and/or a related postgraduate qualification, as well as experience of teaching in a HE setting.  A HE teaching qualification or equivalent would be an advantage.

This is a permanent post to commence soon as possible.

Closing date for applications:  12.00 noon on Friday 15th December 2017.
