Senior Lecturer in Forensic and Crime Scene Sciences

The School of Applied Sciences wishes to appoint an experienced individual who is able to provide tuition to a broad range of students across its forensic investigation and forensic sciences courses.

You will be experienced in crime scene investigation, forensic evidence analysis, photography and microscopy, and lead or co-lead the teaching and assessment requirements for these forensic science disciplines, but will be able to bring your own experiences to widen the current curriculum.

You will be able to teach from foundation year level through to Masters, and have the ability to relate to the requirements of students in terms of their learning, personal and career development. You will be able to utilise your own experiences to create innovative learning experiences for students including those involving crime scene and case simulation.

Bringing your research, consultancy, professional expertise and existing links with the forensic sector, you will be involved in the design and direction of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
