City seeks to recruit two Assistant Educational Technologists as part of Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD). LEaD is a multiskilled service that supports, develops, and influences education at City, University of London. We contribute to educational strategy; run a Masters in Academic Practice; work with staff to further develop their pedagogic practices; help implement and develop educational technologies and learning spaces; and support students in need of learning support or counselling.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Educational Technologist is a new role that will focus on providing support, guidance and training to staff and students on their use of educational technology and the Media and Innovation Learning Lab (MILL). This will involve providing support by phone, online and in person, providing timely communications about operational issues, managing MILL bookings and equipment, developing user documentation and publicity material, developing and delivering training sessions, supporting meetings and events, and contributing to educational change projects.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have an interest in the use of technology to support learning, teaching and assessment and will be able to demonstrate experience of using a virtual learning environment, providing end-user support for IT systems or educational technologies, writing user documentation and reports and delivering training on a one-to-one or group basis. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, good customer service skills and be able to work as part of a team.
