The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Marketing at Kingston University. This role would suit a strong operational leader who can orchestrate product (faculty) and functional marketing teams to produce a creative and efficient marketing operation.

The Head of Marketing will manage seven Marketing Managers including five Faculty Marketing Managers (who provide account management to academic sections of the university as well as deliver product marketing plans) as well as two Marketing Managers for Content & Publications and Campaigns & Conversion.

This is an energised role in which there is never a dull moment! You will work across the entire institution, own the marketing planning process, manage a team of external agency partners, monitor the marketing budget, feed into the strategy, develop our CRM and marketing automation operation, support the delivery of open days and external fairs – and much more!

The Person
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding and practical application of digital marketing, good attention to detail, be prepared to get stuck in and lead from the front and be highly organised. Stakeholder management skills are imperative for this role as the post holder will be required to build effective relationships across the institution.

In addition to significant marketing management experience, the post holder will also have a relevant Undergraduate degree and demonstrable people management skills.

Our Marketing and Communications Directorate provides a strategic operational and advisory service to the University on all aspects of external promotion and internal publicity including UK and international marketing and student recruitment, market research, website management, social media, media relations, branding, copy writing, editing, design and print.
