We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Academic Support Assistant to join the Academic and Student Administration Team within the College Office. The post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the office particularly in relation to student progression casework.

You will be educated to at least Scottish Standard Grade, or equivalent, and will typically have two years relevant work experience, preferably in an administrative role. Excellent communication skills are essential in addition to exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow processes. A can do attitude with first class customer service and organisational skills are essential to successfully manage enquiries and support casework.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven commitment to working collaboratively with the rest of the team and will be used to using your initiative to manage and rearrange your workload to meet changing deadlines. Experience of processing payments using online finance systems and editing and updating websites would be an advantage in this role.

This post is a full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term position for a year.
