Multi-professional Practice Education Co-ordinator

Salary: £32,548 to £38,833 per annum, pro rata for part-time.

Up to 3 full time equivalent posts for a fixed-term of 1 year, part-time working will be considered.

At an exciting time of rapid growth in our education provision and research, we are seeking several dynamic and motivated individuals to work within the practice environment to provide support and guidance to all involved in the provision of practice education for students in the School of Health Sciences (HSC). 

Post holders will have experience of working in a health or social care environment and secondments will be considered. Successful candidates will work in partnership with clinicians and other stakeholders to develop and enhance effective mechanisms for student support, teaching and assessment in practice.

You will scope new potential placement opportunities, and in partnership with current providers, explore new ways of offering learning experiences in practice. You will contribute to the quality of the existing learning environment by ensuring all placement areas have a current educational audit. A further function will be to identify inter-professional learning opportunities in the practice environment.

Successful applicants will need to have a relevant qualification in a healthcare profession as well as a current registration with either the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
