The mission of the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health is to improve the health and well-being of children, and the adults they will become, through world-class research, education and public engagement. The UCL GOS ICH, together with its clinical partner Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, forms the largest concentration of children’s health research outside North America. The Institute offers world-class education and training across a wide range of teaching and life learning programmes which address the needs of students and professional groups who are interested in and undertaking work relevant to child health.

We are looking to recruit and efficient and organised Teaching Administrator to join our Education Administration Team. The role-holder will work closely with Course Directors and other Teaching Administrators to support teaching programmes within the UCL GOS ICH.

This post is available as a one-year maternity cover.

Applicants should be educated to at least A level standard or equivalent and have GCSE English and Mathematics (Grades A-C). The post holder must have experience of administration of a taught educational programme (preferably within a Higher Education setting), excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively and regularly with a wide range of staff and students and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at different levels within and outside the university. Accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to prioritise, work flexibly and to strict deadlines, manage own variable workload, and work proactively without guidance for much of the time, whilst knowing when to seek help are also essential.
