Summary:

Students are at the heart of our University, and the systems and processes which help us to support and interact with students are vital in making sure that the University provides an outstanding student experience, from initial enquiry through to graduation. The Student Lifecycle Project has been established to develop a future vision for the student lifecycle, and to manage the resulting development.

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Reporting Officers to play a crucial role in all aspects of reporting delivery for the Student Lifecycle Project. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of a suite of student-related statutory, compliance and operational reports.

It is anticipated that the individuals taking up these posts will have substantial business intelligence/management information experience with the capability to report on large datasets using enterprise reporting packages ideally within a higher education context. You will possess excellent IT skills and have significant reporting experience in developing and managing operational and statutory reporting. You will be interpreting the project requirements and translating these into visually engaging, clear and useful reports or dashboards appropriate to their content, use and audience.

Knowledge and understanding of the University’s data and reporting requirements is desirable. You should be comfortable working in a project environment.

You will work closely with University stakeholders both technical and functional to ensure the data and reporting needs of University IT Systems are understood and effectively integrated into the University IT environment to support existing University processes.
