Academic Programmes Officer

University of Bristol - Strategic Programmes and Projects

The University of Bristol’s Academic Programmes Team seeks an experienced administrator to support the team in delivering its current portfolio of programmes. You will be a highly proactive, efficient and flexible individual, able to cope with a pressurised workload. Working directly to and supporting the Programme Manager (head of the Academic Programmes Team), you will be required to deliver work across all the programmes and projects within the team’s remit as well as to liaise with a wide range of key stakeholders across the Faculties.

You will need excellent organisation skills, coupled with tact and professionalism and be able to work on your own initiative. Experience of organising and supporting senior meetings (including minute taking) is essential, as is attention to detail. You will also ideally have knowledge of Visio and web editing tools or a willingness to learn these. If you have these skills and are interested in a varied and busy role in a small, supportive and professional team then we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full time role on an open ended (subject to funding) contract with funding initially in place until 31 August 2018 (further funding in discussion). For an informal discussion about the position, please contact Dr Naomi Logan (Head of the Academic Programmes Team) on 0117 394 0421.

Please note that interviews will take place on Thursday 21 December.

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
