Research Technician - A86463T

Newcastle University - Faculty of Medical Sciences, Institute of Cellular Medicine

You will provide technical, laboratory support to the translational research programmes that are being developed in the National Renal Complement Therapeutics Centre. This will involve working with two research groups providing a key co-ordination role between the group leaders, laboratory staff, students and NHS and academic groups linked to the Centre.

You should have experience of working in a research laboratory and be familiar with the standard laboratory techniques and procedures. The post will involve working with senior and junior laboratory staff and the supervision of students. You must possess excellent communication and team working skills as well as the ability to work independently, self-motivate, plan and organise time to achieve personal and group goals.
