Grade 8: £39,992 - £47,722 p.a. (pro rata for part-time)

The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.

The department runs an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology for 25 students, supports over 60 DPhil students and provides clinical teaching for medical students. We are aiming to continue to expand our DPhil programme and develop the teaching programmes to include, for example, post graduate certificates and diplomas in the area of population health.

As Graduate Studies Manager, you will oversee the administrative support for the delivery of the department’s teaching programmes and contribute to their further development. Working as line manager to a team of four, your key responsibilities will include coordination of the graduate admission processes, providing relevant advice to students and staff and monitoring student funding in the department.

To be considered, you will be educated to graduate level (or equivalent), have relevant experience working in higher education and good knowledge of the University’s graduate studies programmes, policies and procedures. You will also have an excellent understanding of dealing with student matters, the ability to think strategically, and strong communication, IT and organisational skills.

The position is full-time (although part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
