Project Officer: Safeguarding against online and social media abuse

There is an exciting opportunity to create a positive, student-friendly and widely available web-based resource addressing the issue of online bullying and harassment, contributing to a culture of zero tolerance in the University.

The post holder will have previous web development experience, being able to create and deliver rich and varied content to a specific audience, along with excellent communication and project management skills and previous experience in a role engaging customers/students. Knowledge of equality legislation, experience in engaging students and a flexible approach to working with a variety of stakeholders would be an advantage.

The role sits within both Student Services and Equalities. The role holder will be responsible to the Director of Student Services, guided by an Institutional Project Group. The work is externally funded and must therefore meet specific milestones, and be completed by the end of December 2018.
