The Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (HGI), located in Nottingham University Business School supports these aims with its work and research around the development of enterprise and entrepreneurial skills, innovation and understanding of the commercialisation of research. Applications are invited for the position of Professor of Practice - Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Witty Scholarship support), which is based in the HGI, to support and mentor recipients of the Witty scholarships in creating or joining innovative businesses and provide leadership in teaching, knowledge transfer and administration in the fields of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He/she will also engage in high quality teaching on the range of programmes offered by HGI and available to Witty scholarship candidates.

We welcome applications from candidates with a good honours degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience, together with a distinguished record of professional achievement in a commercial or public sector organisation, to include extensive experience, a successful track record at executive level and a widely recognised credible reputation in industry and academia in the fields of entrepreneurship and/or innovation. Other qualities include a high-level analytical capability to facilitate conceptual thinking, innovation and creativity, together with evidence of the ability to transfer experience into teaching through a record of previous teaching and/or engaging in a group setting and/or mentoring. This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) 3 year fixed term post.
